The Last of the Cherry Blossom in Herbert Park

The Last of the Cherry Blossom in Herbert Park

We paid a brief visit to Herbert Park on Monday to catch the cherry blossom, and while it is the beginning of the end of the blooming season, the falling petals provided a nice backdrop. The line of trees in the park is quite beautiful and picturesque, and while the blossoms are almost gone now, it’s still worth a visit. This should also be pretty special in Autumn too, as cherry trees usually go a bright red or orange, so definitely a note in my calendar to return to check that out.

Incidentally, while we were there, we walked by the duck pond, and there was a small floating navy of ducklings and their parents guiding them around the pond. I also spotted a swan nesting in the reeds in the centre of the pond too.
