We decided to take some time in the city centre on Sunday for a lazy breakfast and an equally lazy stroll through the streets. No matter what the day, or the weather, the Streets of Dublin city always have some interesting things to see.
For breakfast we had brunch in the extremely lovely Sophie's Bar and Restaurant which is at the top of the Dean Hotel on Harcourt Street. It's my first time going there and I was really impressed. The food was lovely, the staff was lovely and the view was amazing (which I neglected to photograph, because it was busy and I didn't want to be rude.)
From there we just wandered around for a little while, through Grafton Street and the various side streets, and then through Trinity College and Dame street. There were lots of tourists and interesting faces around, but I was surprised at how low key the St. Patricks Day decorations are this year. Normally most places are adorned in green at this stage, but it seems very low key.
Needless to say I had a camera with me (always!) and I took some photos as we wandered around. A lovely lazy Sunday in the city. Enjoy.
